Companionship Cafe at Morrison’s Elland
Home Instead Calderdale has teamed up with Morrison’s Supermarket in Elland to run a monthly companionship cafe for older people.  The second cafe is on Tuesday 14 June at 10am in the in-store cafe.  Find out more.
Snackattack at Southgate Methodist Church
Every Friday from 10.30am to 1pm in the Coffee bar at Southgate Methodist Church, Langdale Street, Elland. HX5 0JL. Enjoy butties, homemade scones and drinks at very reasonable prices. Everyone welcome.

Tuesday 2’Oclock Club
This friendship group meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 2pm at The Ripponden Club (formerly The Conservative Club). Tea, coffee, cake, companionship and entertainment.  See more on their Facebook page. 

Pellon Over 50s Lunch Club
The over 50s Luncheon Club, organised by the Halifax & District Irish Society meets at Pellon Social Club every Thursday of the week from 12pm to 3pm. Admission is £5 per person and includes lunch.  The club has entertainment lined up from January 2022 to March 17th, St Patrick’s day.

University of the Third Age, Todmorden.  Over 400 members with 30 groups ranging from Philosophy to Scrabble, French to Table Tennis. The monthly meeting is third Thursday of the month at 13:45, Central Methodists in Todmorden, is regularly attended by over 100 people and always has an invited speaker, tea and good company. www.u3atod.org.uk

Elland & District Retired Men’s Probus Club. Elland Working Men’s Club on alternatve Tuesday mornings.  All welcome to this friendship group with regular speakers.
