With more than a third of Calderdale residents now aged over 50 and continuing to grow, the role of the Forum will become more important over the next few years, now is a great time to get involved with Calderdale Forum 50 Plus.

2. Join the Age Friendly Network
Age Friendly Calderdale is the movement working to ensure Calderdale is an age friendly place where people have strong social networks and live in vibrant communities. We are working with the Age Friendly Alliance to create an Age Friendly Calderdale Network that will seek to champion the voices of those aged 50 plus and challenge ageism.

3. Attend our meetings
We warmly welcome visitors to our friendly and informal bi-monthly committee meetings which provide a voice for older people in Calderdale and an opportunity for residents to contribute their views and opinions on life in Calderdale for older adults.
