Our Spring 2022 Survey

In Spring 2022, we surveyed our website visitors to find out your opinion of Calderdale Forum 50  Plus, what more you want us to provide and the issues that concern you the most.

Overall you are happy with the content we provide on our website and through our newsletters, with events and local & community news being most important to you.  Many of you would like more about local events news and more activities tailored to older people.

Most of you had concerns about your local environment and told us about the isues that matter the most in this survey. The issues that resonate most strongly are the state of our region’s roads, driving, traffic congestion and parking as well as policing, local transport infrastructure and litter.  Other issues were also raised.

Care Aware Survey

We ran a small, informal survey in 2017 to act as a discussion piece to find out more about the social care available in Calderdale, (in particular the “Gateway to Care” service run by the council), how people access it, what services they access and who provides those services.  The key findings can be read in our “Care Aware” survey results or viewed in our Care Aware Video.

The key findings can be seen in our Care Aware Video.

Thank you to everyone who took part in our “Care Aware” survey.

Issues & Concerns Survey

We are always keen to identify the issues, concerns and worries that affect the daily life of older people and bring them to the attention of local government and private or commercial service providers. Our “Issues & Concerns” survey was run through September and October 2016 and we are now able to share the results. The “Changing Times” video below summarises the results. A more comprehensive breakdown of the survey’s findings can be downloaded here: Issues & Concerns (word file).
