Our 2023-24 Reader Survey
In December 2023 and January 2024 we surveyed you: our website visitors and newsletter readers to find out more about what you want from our service and the issues affecting your lives. We received 102 responses in the two months the survey was live. Read the results.
Fitness & Activity Survey – Summer 2023
In June and July 2023 we ran a short survey of our community of older people to find out more about their activity levels and access to health & fitness. The survey was promoted through the Forum website and newsletters and 153 responses were obtained in a two-month period.

Accessibility Survey – Spring 2023
This survey was posted on the Calderdale Forum 50 Plus website and shared via social media and email newsletter during February and March 2023. The survey consisted of ten questions exploring the issues of access and accessibility in the everyday lives of older people in Calderdale. Seventy four submissions were received. Our Spring 2022 Survey
In Spring 2022, we surveyed our website visitors to find out your opinion of Calderdale Forum 50 Plus, what more you want us to provide and the issues that concern you the most. Read the survey results.
Care Aware Survey
We ran a small, informal survey in 2017 to act as a discussion piece to find out more about the social care available in Calderdale, (in particular the “Gateway to Care” service run by the council), how people access it, what services they access and who provides those services. Issues & Concerns Survey
We are always keen to identify the issues, concerns and worries that affect the daily life of older people and bring them to the attention of local government and private or commercial service providers. Our “Issues & Concerns” survey was run through September and October 2016 and we are now able to share the results. The “Changing Times” video below summarises the results.
