19 SEPTEMBER: View artefacts and documents from the Mount Zion collection, find out about characters from the Chapel’s history and Calderdale’s past. Listen to local historian David Glover tell stories of local women’s lives and achievements.
The Chapel and grounds will be open from 10.30.
Artefacts and documents from the Mount Zion collection, pertinent to Methodists in Calderdale will be on display, as will those which give an insight into the lives of ordinary people across the borough, at work, worship and play.
Tea, coffee and cake will be available in the sexton’s cottage.
A free talk by President of Halifax Antiquarians, David Glover, in the Chapel at 15.00.
