Dementia & Social Inclusion Open Day: Friday 17th May

Rastrick Fire Station with support from Calderdale Dementia Friendly Community and Age UK are hosting an open day event on Friday 17th May.

This free event takes place at Rastrick Fire Station, Clough Lane, Rastrick HD6 3QQ starting at 11am and running through till 2pm.

The event is open to everyone in the local community and will include entertainment as well as educational talks and a fun exercise session.

The event will benefit anyone who is experiencing dementia or is socially excluded as well as their families or carers. It will also be of benefit to organisations, charities and businesses that want to find out more about how they can support customers who have a diagnosis, are elderly or isolated.  It will also be of value to anyone with an interest in finding out more about dementia.

Organisations will be on hand to answer your questions about dementia and ageing and a free lunch will be provided, courtesy of Tesco.
