Blog: Exploring the options for Night Care

In his latest blog, Bluebird Care Calderdale’s Shabir Hussain looks at how Night Care is an  option for families looking to keep relatives safe and well in their own homes through the night time.

Exploring Night Care

There’s nothing like getting a good night’s sleep. Of course, the same can be said of a bad night’s sleep. That’s why many care companies, including Bluebird Care offer Overnight Care. Although our main focus is our clients, we share their concern for their loved ones and Night Care can offer loved ones the best chance possible of getting the sleep they need.

At Bluebird, we offer two types of Night Care, both of which are provided by a highly-trained and dedicated team of Care Experts working throughout the night. That way, the people who matter most to you can feel safe and supported, no matter what time of day it is.

Sleeping Night

Sleeping Night means that one of our Care Experts will sleep in your loved one’s home for eight hours or more. So they’re always around if needed. But this is less about continual support throughout the night and more about giving your loved one peace of mind and the comfort of knowing they’re not alone.

That way they’ll feel more relaxed, less anxious and be less likely to miss out on that all-important shut-eye.

Who’s Sleeping Night for?
It’s for anyone who needs a bit of support perhaps one or twice through a typical night.

Waking Night

Waking Night means that one of our Care Experts will visit your loved one’s home in the evening, spending eight hours or more with them. They’ll help with things like going to the bathroom, taking medication, changing positions in bed due to injury and more.

Our Care Experts will be by the client’s side, giving them the care and comfort they need, so they can get the sound sleep they crave.

Who’s Waking Night for?
It’s for anyone who needs regular support throughout the night.
