17 MAY: Join the Orchestra of Opera North for a very special performance of Antonín Dvořák’s Piano Quintet in A major.
The concert features principal musicians from the Orchestra of Opera North, with Head of Music David Cowan at the piano.
The programme interweaves themes from Czeck folk songs and dances with the composer’s trademark lyricism. Hungarian folk themes are conjured in Haydn’s Piano Trio, which completes this delightful springtime concert.
