Dementia Support group for Diverse Communities – Hamari Yaadein (Our Memories) – North Halifax.

Location: The Apna Wellbeing Centre, Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre, Hanson Ln, Halifax HX1 5PG

Details: Hamari Yaadein (Our Memories) is a collaboration between Overgate Hospice and Halifax Opportunities Trust, providing dementia support to diverse communities across Calderdale. This group offers a holistic approach to individual needs, focusing on person-centred care and support for people with dementia.

Hamari Yaadein (Our Memories) provides a friendly, safe environment where people with dementia can attend with their carers or family, where a dedicated team of staff and volunteers are available to advise, inform, and support. Our aim is to improve self-esteem, encourage self-expression, reduce social isolation, and help lessen anxiety.

When: Monthly meetings on the 2nd Thursday from 6 to 8pm.
