30 MAY – The Anne Lister Guidebook Revisited or The Perils of Writing a Short Book about a Long Diary is a free talk by Rachel Terry, Collections Manager, Calderdale Museums Service. It gives the inside story of how they went about creating Anne Lister of Shibden Hall. A book which brings new readers into Anne Lister’s world and gives them an introduction to her unique voice and perspective.
