Carer’s Count Calderdale (formerly known as Calderdale Carer’s Wellbeing Service)
Based at Rimani House, Hall Street, Halifax HX1 2XE they provide family or other voluntary carers aged 18 and over with an extensive range of resources and support, designed to give carers more balance in life. A number of support groups are organised every month across Calderdale as well as activity and social events including walking groups, picnics, daytrips, breakfast get-togethers, singing group and a cake club. Safe Space at Healthy Minds
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or simply need someone to listen, the team at Safe Space are here for you. Their services are available 7 days and evenings a week, offering a lifeline for anyone aged over 16 in Calderdale, completely free of charge.
Drop-in support available across Calderdale:
Mixenden: Mondays from 1pm to 4pm at the Holy Nativity Church.
Halifax: Wednesdays from 10.30am to 12.30pm at The Gathering Place and Sunday socials from 1pm to 3pm at Healthy Minds on King Street HX1 1SR.
