Calderdale Council is developing its new Commissioning Strategy for 2027-2031 and they want your feedback. Here’s what they have to say about it and why:
“Commissioning” is the process we use to understand local needs, plan services, decide how money should be spent, and work with organisations to make sure people get the support they need.
The strategy sets out the principles and priorities that will guide how Calderdale plans, designs and purchases health, care and support services over the next four years.
The full strategy is a lengthy document, and we are developing simpler and more accessible visual summaries. In the meantime, we would like to hear your views on the key principles and priorities that will shape our approach.
We are particularly keen to hear from people aged 50 and over, unpaid carers, and organisations that support older people.
The survey is anonymous and takes around 10 minutes to complete.
