8 JULY: Are you caring for someone with support needs? The Calderdale Safeguarding Adults Board in collaboration with Community Voice would like to invite you to our Meet the Teams – Supporting Carers event.
This is a chance to come along, meet local services, and find out more about the help and support available in Calderdale. It is designed to help carers and services connect in one place.
The event is aimed at carers who support a family member, friend, neighbour, or someone in your wider community.
When: Wednesday 8 July from 12.30 to 2.30pm.
Where: The King’s Centre, Park Road, Halifax HX1 2TS. On street parking available.
What to expect:
- Meet a range of local teams and services
- Find out what support may be available to you and the person you care for
- Ask questions in an informal setting
- Collect information and resources
- Build confidence in who to contact if you need support
- Listen to some short presentations on key services in Calderdale.
Refreshments provided.
