Drawing between 3,000 and 4,000 attendees, the Shelf Gala is an annual opportunity to unite our community and raise funds for local charities, organisations, schools, and other worthy causes. The funds raised through entrance fees are distributed as part of donations annually, supporting various local initiatives. The event also allows organisations and businesses to raise their own funds by having a stall on the day, which increases footfall through the village and benefits local businesses.
Shelf Gala is located on the main field within Shelf Hall Park. The procession itself runs along Halifax Road, Shelf, prior to the gala commencing in the afternoon.
