More info: We are a small community conservation group based in Todmorden and we look after Tipside in Todmorden alongside the river Calder. We are long established, founded 1998 and we look after this stretch of the river: litter picking, clearing vegetation, balsam bashing in summer, recording wildlife, creating new habitats and managing those we have, reporting and suggesting issues and improvements to Calderdale and Tod Town Council.
Tipside is an amazing wildlife refuge in the centre of Tod – a tiny jewel, there are species here found no where else in Calderdale as well as national rarities, but it has challenges being in an urban area. We are always looking for new members.
