Banking Hub Opens in Todmorden

Todmorden’s new Banking Hub has opened, meaning that people from the town can now access traditional banking services on weekdays. The banking hub’s location is the Todmorden Learning Centre and Community Hub on Burnley Road.

The hub was opened at a community event on January 15, where a representative from Cash Access UK – the organisation which opened the hub – was on hand to answer questions.

A range of counter services, operated by the Post Office, will be available at the hub, include withdrawing and depositing cash, depositing cheques, paying utility bills, checking account balance, and collecting change (registered business customers).

All customers will be able to access face-to-face banking Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, whilst customers of major banks can talk to their own bank about more complicated issues on a designated day. Community bankers will be available on Wednesdays (Halifax), Thursdays (NatWest), and Fridays (Barclays).

Calderdale’s other banking hub is located in Elland.
