About Brighouse Third Age Group
We run a wider variety of classes and activities including table tennis, flower arranging, French Conversation, Beginner’s Bridge, Keep Fit & Tap Dance, indoor kurling, art, a history group, luncheon club and we organise outings and invite a speaker once a month.
We also run a walking group, with regular walks of around 5 miles in different parts of Calderdale. Car sharing can be arranged.
Regular group meetings
Our regular meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm at the Waring Green Community Centre.
How To Get Involved
We have over 300 members and welcome new faces. Annual membership is £14 plus an enrolment fee of £10 for classes running September to December.
