You can now rent an e-bike from North Halifax Partnership to make everyday trips easier, cheaper and healthier. Collection points are at Mixenden Activity Centre or Forest Cottage.
How it works
You start by filling in an application form online. They then book you a collection slot, which includes a short induction. You then take the bike home for your loan period. Finally, you bring it back on time.
Who it’s for
The scheme is open to anyone aged 18+ who lives or works in North Halifax and can store the bike securely (indoors or in a locked shed/garage).
Why try an e-bike?
Ebikes make cycling much easier and more accessible, in particular making hills much easier to ride. Essentially, they make cycling feel easy and fun. They are great for shopping, commuting & school runs and you can make significant savings on fuel / parking etc.
