Writers Retreat with Oddfellows Brighouse & Huddersfield
Are you an aspiring novelist or poet? Are you forever finding something else to do instead of write? The Writers Retreat at Brighouse offers you an opportunity to write in a safe setting with like-minded companions. Set easy goals, write in sprints and enjoy hot drinks and pastries. The retreat is aimed at those people who need a nudge to write!
There is no formal requirement to share your work and no formal advice will be given on your work.
When: The second Sunday every month 10am – 1pm. £2 incl refreshments
Where: Oddfellows Hall, Bradford Road, Brighouse HD6 1TY
About Oddfellows
The Brighouse and Huddersfield branch of the Oddfellows Society (a not-for-profit organisation) hosts around 10 events a month, including regular meetups including coffee mornings, lunch clubs, and games afternoons. The Branch also organises day trips and guided walks, offering a mix of light-hearted social events and enriching experiences.
