Wheelchair basketball is the biggest Paralympic team sport in the UK and is now available to everyone – not just wheelchair users.
It is a fast-paced and fast-growing sport that allows disabled and non-disabled people to compete together in its domestic leagues and competition. an established sport in Halifax – and has now been opened up to everyone.
The club trains every Monday evening at Calderdale College from 7pm to 9pm and anyone interested in the sport can just turn up and join in.
The sessions are open to all ages and no special equipment is needed.
