Brighouse Book Club

Are you an avid reader or would like to get into reading more? Would you like to try new authors and share your thoughts with like minded people? Do you need recommendations for new books?

The Brighouse Book Club meets monthly to swap thoughts on the latest books, share new authors and get ideas for your next read. We’ll also be organising trips to nearby (and some further afield) Literature Festivals.

When: The first Friday of every month 1pm – 3pm FREE.

Where: Oddfellows Hall, Bradford Road, Brighouse HD6 1TY

The Writers Retreat at Brighouse offers you an opportunity to write in a safe setting with like-minded companions. Set easy goals, write in sprints and enjoy hot drinks and pastries.  The retreat is aimed at those people who need a nudge to write!

There is no formal requirement to share your work and no formal advice will be given on your work.
