An organisation called Caja is leading a project to improve uptake of first-time breast screening appointments across Yorkshire and the North East.
The focus is on understanding the barriers women face to attending their first appointment, and using behavioural insights to inform practical, targeted improvements to local breast screening services. They are looking to hear from a diverse range of women aged between 47 and 53 about their honest views and experiences of breast screening. VCSE organisations, who have trusted relationships with women in their communities, are vital to reaching women whose voices are often less heard.
