About West Riding Stonecarving Association
We bring the art of carving stone to the general public and offer classes which include an eight session foundation course, a one day carving class and a weekend course.
We hold regular one day classes in which a complete beginner can experience the workshop and take home their carved Yorkshire rose for £60.
We also offer membership and many members come down to the workshops to catch up with each other over a cup of tea.
Our opening hours are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-4pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 4pm.
We encourage people to call in for a look around and there’s no need to book.
Current Activities
We offer workshops and classes. Our prices start at £15 for the three hour lesson. Membership is £25 that includes use of the workshop and tools 4 days a week. The weekend course is £160.
