About OSCA Foundation
The OSCA Foundation is a sport and community hub based at the Ovenden Sport & Community Centre and serves all local people. The Foundation also runs social and activity groups for retired and older people – see below for specific activities.
The recently refurbished facilities include sports pitches, a floodlit mult-use games area (MUGA), dance and exercise studio, bar, community rooms and first-class changing facilities with disabled access.
The community hub is run by a team of volunteers and has been developed thanks to funding from Calderdale Council, Sport England, The Rugby League World Cup 2021 and The Football Foundation.
Activities are provided for every age group with the aim of improving the health & wellbeing of the people of Ovenden.
