Occasionally we come across a story that we think might particularly interest a small selection of our readers, but which is worth publishing anyway. We all probably remember crossing the road from school under the watchful eye of a lollipop lady (or man).
Well, even today, this is an important role at many of our local schools and the Council are looking to fill a number of vacancies for what are now known as School Crossing Patrol Operatives.
