27 JUNE: Urban Sketching arrives in Halifax- bring your sketchbooks for a fun, informal couple of hours’ drawing Halifax
Meet at Halifax Borough Market Halifax
Urban sketching is a free, informal, social activity that has been enjoyed by people across the world, and now Halifax! Join us on Sat 27th June at 10.30am at the clock in Halifax Borough Market. It’s a great way to meet other enthusiastic sketchers and get to know Halifax in a new way. Suitable for all levels, it’s not a tutored event and we sketch for the fun of it.
How it works:
We have a different, optional theme each meet, this could be a subject matter or way of drawing. You can also just draw whatever you want, how you want to.
We meet at Halifax Borough Market and will have a couple of other drawing locations in mind, inspired by the theme.
After a couple of hours, we’ll head for a cuppa and a sketchbook throwdown where we can share our drawings and offer supportive feedback. Sharing is optional. Bring a sketchbook and your own drawing materials. Don’t worry if you’ve not sketched much before- a pencil and even an biro can create great things! Dress for the weather. If it rains, we will find some covered locations but we will be walking in between them.
