Caring for someone living with dementia or memory loss can be rewarding, but it can also be challenging and isolating at times.
A new coffee morning for carers is now running at the Project Colt Cafe in Elland.
The sessions are run by Home Instead and Calder & Ryburn Primary Care Network to provide carers and families with a space to relax and meet others who understand the challenges of supporting a loved one with dementia. Carers and famililes can also access practical advice, guidance, and emotional support from healthcare and dementia professionals.
The coffee mornings started on Wednesday 26th November 2025 and the group will meet on the fourth Wednesday of every month, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Project Colt Café, Bridgefield Mills, Elland (HX5 0SQ).
