Calderdale Museums have launched a new online exhibition page, where you can view a gallery of art, including the Shibden Hall collection of 15 oil paintings.

Healthy Minds workshops are back from 25 June.
These online workshops from Calderdale’s Staying Well Hub will help improve mental health and promote feelings of wellness.  You can try a variety of fun exercises including crafting for free.  Find out more and book here.

Read the new issue of Woman & Home magazine online
If you have a Calderdale Libraries card or online account you can access books, magazines and reference materials online.   The latest issue of Woman & Home is available via the Rb Digital app and features an interview with Joanna Lumley.  To join the library service go to the Calderdale Libraries website, and then download the RB Digital app on a smartphone or tablet.

Calderdale Libraries launched a new Facebook group in June.

Watch and listen to famous actors reading Harry Potter this June.
If you love the Harry Potter stories, watch some familiar faces read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone for Harry Potter At Home – including Daniel Radcliffe, Eddie Redmayne & Stephen Fry.  Hear the stories.  

Singing for the Brain sessions from The Alzheimer’s Society run weekly from 1 June 2020 on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm. The sessions use Zoom but can also be accessed by telephone if individuals do not have access to or are comfortable with the relevant technology/internet.  Find out more and see a live singing event
