Rest Stop: A new fortnghtly dementia-friendly cafe comes to the Brighouse Central Methodist Church from Tuesday 7th November.
Inspired by the success of the very popular Memory Lane Cafe’s in Sowerby Bridge and Halifax, a new team are setting up a similar event for people with dementia, their carers and anyone experiencing loneliness or needing a place to go.
Rest Stop will meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at the Brighouse Centra Methodist Church on Commercial Street, Brighouse HD6 1AQ offering activities, friendship, information and support. Each session costs £2.50 and refreshments are included.
