HSB News & Events
Brighouse Group – Every Monday at Brighouse Rest Centre from 12.30pm-2.30pm
Zoomers– Every Tuesday via zoom at 11am to 12noon
Book Group– 2nd Tuesday of every month 1pm-3pm
Technology Group– 1st Wednesday of every month from 11am to 12noon
Guide Dog Group– 3rd Wednesday of every month from 11am– 12noon
Coffee and Chat Group – Every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm
Games Group– Every Thursday from 10am to 11.30am
Craft Group– 3rd Thursday of every month from 12.30pm-2.30pm
Inbetweeners Group– 4th Thursday of every month from 6pm-8pm.
Chairobics – Every Friday (hybrid) from 10am to 10.30am
Bowling Group– Every Friday at Electric Bowl, Halifax from 11am
Visiting Optician – Oliver Sewell from Andrew Lomas Opticians will hold a drop in session on the 1st Monday of every month from 10am to 12noon at HSB. Oliver will be here to chat to you about eye tests, eye appointments, magnification and low vision aids.
Donations Table – The donation table on week commencing 4th September will feature Magnifiers. Come along and grab yourself a bargain.
Social Café/ Sight Centre – Our social café and sight centre is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm. Drop in and have a brew and a biscuit. A small donation is all we ask. Don’t forget we also have a front room set up with entertainment options for those with a visual impairment. If you want to know more, pop in for a chat, we would love to see you.
September LEO – This month we will be trying somewhere new again and so we will be venturing out to Thai Style on Thursday 21st September. If you would like to join us there, please contact Angela on 07791134362 or email localeatingout@outlook.com if possible by Friday 15th September please! Thank you.
