New Cycling For Health Hub In Elland

West Yorkshire’s Cycling for Health programme has a new training site in Elland, Calderdale. Cycling UK is working in partnership with the Calderdale Bikeability team and Project Colt, an addiction recovery support service, and will be running courses from this community venue, open to both to referral partners and self-referrals.

The surroundings are perfect for gentle rides with access to local parks and the canal towpath. It’s a busy community hub, with wellbeing gardening, barbering and barista sessions, as well as a thriving furniture and clothing charity shop. The Bikeability team will also be running a bike mechanic course to support beneficiaries learning a wider array of skills.

You can check what courses are available and make a referral directly on Eventbrite, but you can also get in touch with them at cycleforhealth@cyclinguk.org for more details or to make a booking. If you’d like to book a private course, please email us.
