You can find out what the Halifax Society For The Blind are up to in their latest newsletter, which details many of the groups and activities they run.
Here are a few of their headline news items:
Visiting Optician– On the first Monday of every month we have a visiting optician, Oliver Sewell from Andrew Lomas Opticians visiting us for a drop in session between 10am and 12noon.
AGM– This year’s AGM will take place at HSB, 7 Southgate, HX1 1DL on Wednesday 16th August at 6pm. There will be a short meeting followed by refreshments. Any questions must be submitted to the office in advance of the meeting.
Donations Table– From the 14th August we will be having a weekly donations table in our Sight Centre. These tables will have donated items available for reasonable donations. Each week will have a different theme with the first week showcasing Radio and Communications. Pop along and grab yourself a bargain!
