Help raise funds for a defibrillator and enjoy a fun night out at the Old Rishworthian’s Rugby Club
Copley Mill House, a retirement living scheme is holding a Race Night is on Saturday 12 August at Old Rishworthians Rugby Club, Copley Village HX3 0UG.
A Race Night involves betting on numbered cards which represent fictional horses. People then place their bets before each race and odds are determined. Everyone who bets is given a raffle ticket each time which they have to produce to get their winnings.
It promises to be great fun and noisy as people encourage their ‘horses’ across the board.
Doors open 7 pm. £2 entry. Over 16s only.
