Join writer and historian Lucy Adlington at Bankfield Museum in Halifax where her exhibition ‘Opening the Wardrobe’ is currently on show.
Lucy is the author of 7 novels and 5 fascinating history books, including the New York Times bestseller The Dressmakers of Auschwitz – The True Story of the Women who Sewed to Survive.
Lucy will be in conversation with Collections Manager Angela Clare about her work as a writer, ‘History Wardrobe’ company and vast costume collection. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and for book signing. A selection of books, including Lucy’s new illustrated book ‘Opening the Wardrobe’ will also be on sale.
The ‘Opening the Wardrobe’ exhibition will be open for viewing from 10am to 4pm. Free parking and there is a café on site.
