Hebden Bridge’s annual arts festival “Open Space 70” takes over the town from 13-16 July. Join in by booking a creative workshops in the run-up to the festival.
From Thursday 13 to Sunday 16 July everyone in Calderdale and beyond is invited to enjoy a celebration of 70 exhibitions and installations, performances, workshops, talks and walks at spaces in and around Hebden Bridge, including a weekend Arts Trail and free programme of family-friendly events.

3rd and 4th June: Curlew & lapwing willow lantern making with Sue Walpole. 10.30am to 4.30pm. £60 or £42 (unwaged).
10th and 11th June. Ceramic protest plaque making with Katch Skinner. 10am to 1pm. £60 or £42 (unwaged).
17th June. Rag rug wall handing workshop with Emma Wilkinson. 10.30am to 3.30pm. £40 or £28 (unwaged).
18th June. Clothes to coiled pots workshop with Emma Wilkinson. 10.30am to 3.30pm. £40 or £28 (unwaged).
24th June. Poetry Masterclass with Katherine Horrex. 1.30pm to 4.30pm. £15 or £10 (unwaged).
