Coronation Weekend At The Piece Hall

To mark this historic occasion,  Halifax’s Piece Hall has been selected as one of the sites to host a screening of the Coronation of King Charles III and The Queen Consort. This is fitting, given the historic nature of the building (the only remaining Grade I Georgian cloth hall in the world) and a Royal visit by the then Prince of Wales and then Duchess of Cornwall in 2018.

There will be a live link to the BBC coverage on a large screen on the 66,000 sq ft courtyard of The Piece Hall, which will be decked with Union flags. Activity takes place over three days. For those looking for a special treat, a ‘King’s Afternoon Tea’ will be available at The Trading Rooms on Saturday 6 May. PRE-ORDER AFTERNOON TEA
