Halifax Opportunities Trust (HOT) is a local charity which is based at Hanson Lane Enterprise Centre in Park ward. They want to redevelop Queen’s Road Neighbourhood Centre, which used to be a great community centre for the local area but which hasn’t been fully open since March 2020.
The council owns the building and has asked HOT to put together a business plan which shows what the building would be used for, how they’d raise the money to refurbish the building and how they could afford to run it once it was redeveloped.
