Brighouse Third Age Group is holding an open event on Monday 5th September from 10am to 12pm at Waring Green Community Centre.
This group run a wide variety of classes and activities including table tennis, flower arranging, French Conversation, Beginner’s Bridge, Keep Fit & Tap Dance, indoor kurling, art, a history group, luncheon club and organise outings and speakers for people in Calderdale.
They also run a walking group, with regular walks of around 5 miles in different parts of Calderdale. Car sharing can be arranged.
Regular group meetings
Regular meetings take place on the first Tuesday of the month at 2pm at the Waring Green Community Centre.
How To Get Involved
They have over 300 members and welcome new faces. Annual membership is £14 plus an enrolment fee of £10 for classes running September to December.
