Age UK – Tai Chi Sessions in Halifax

Tai Chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow, flowing movements designed to reduce stress, improve posture and balance, and improve general mobility. As a low impact exercise Tai Chi is suitable for all ages and many of the Tai Chi movements can be adapted to suit people with a disability, including wheelchair users.

Age UK have booked local Tai Chi teacher, David Crabtree, and are hosting sessions at two of their wellbeing centres. Sessions will be running for £3.00 a session:

  • Tuesdays at 5:30pm at Rimani House Wellbeing Centre in Halifax
  • Fridays at 11am at Sundale House Wellbeing Centre in Huddersfield.

A free Tai Chi t-shirt and non-slip socks will be provided when you join.
