Calling women interested in a career in health and social care

If have you been unemployed for an extended length of time, or are you looking for a career change, or a return to work after being at home, maybe with family, this might be the opportunity you have been looking for.

Would you like to build your confidence, gain work skills and get your foot securely back into the jobs market?

Halifax’s Women’s Activity Centre (WAC) is facilitating work experience and ongoing skills, education and support for women interested into going into a career in health and social care. They are working with Inclusive Economy and the Inspire programme to help people on their path back to paid employment.

Along with Calderdale College and Bluebird Care amongst others, they will help you to build the skills and confidence to gain employment in the health and social care sector.

If this sounds like something that you, or somebody that you know might be interested in, contact Kausar or Marie on 01422 252447 Mon-Wed or email with your information.

They will only have limited places to begin with, but more placements will be available at the beginning of next year, so get in touch now and take the next step on your new career journey.
