Lip-Reading Masks – for people with hearing impairment

If you know someone who relies on lip reading, then you might want to purchase a lip reading mask.

Thanks to information from our partners at Disability Partnership Calderdale, we’ve been given details of a local supplier of lip reading masks. These are obviously a huge help if you are speaking to someone who relies on lip reading.  One of their members, Teresa kindly supplied an image of herself wearing one of the masks.

They are sold in a shop called ‘Awesome Masks’ which is in the Packhorse Centre in Huddersfield. The shop also has a website which covers their wide range of other masks as well, and you can buy online.
