The Monday Kitchen Lunch Club at St. Andrew’s Church, Halifax.
The Lunch Club meets on Mondays, 11:00am-1:30pm (except public holidays) at St. Andrew’s Methodist Church on Huddersfield Road, Halifax HX3 0AT.
Coffee and tea are served until mid-day when there is a short ‘God-spot’. After this there is a lunch of soup, sandwiches and cakes, nearly all home-made.
Running through the whole session is plenty of chat and laughter. Some of those who come are from St. Andrew’s, some from other churches and some with no church links at all. Everyone is welcome.
You don’t need to book, you don’t need to come every week, you can arrive and leave when you feel like it. Why not try it, and perhaps bring a friend?
There is a charge of £2.
