As part of the work of the Halifax RLFC Foundation, a Rugby League Heritage Lunch Club was formed in July.
The wider aim is to use Rugby League memories, anecdotes, stories and personal experiences of past players and Rugby League enthusiasts to engage older people in our community. To meet, find new and old friends, become less isolated, more confident and have a low cost lunch in a friendly atmosphere in a central venue. It’s further aims are to provide a regular opportunity for people in the local community to come together to share memories and look at memorabilia.
