VOLUNTEERING: Is it for you?

Bored? Need a new challenge? Meet new people – Gain work experience – Increase your confidence by volunteering. The benefits of giving your time to work with or help others are widely recognised. If you are in work, it can give you an alternative focus, allowing you to relax and de-stress. If you are retired, it can replace work as a way to get you out of the house and meet new people and different challenges.

At Creations Community Children’s Centre, Albert Road, Pellon on Tuesday 4 September, from 11:30am-1:30pm there will be a session providing you with all the information you need about becoming a volunteer with North Halifax Partnership Sure Start Children’s Centres.

Refreshments (tea and coffee) will be provided.
