Summer is a great time to get out for a walk in our lovely Calderdale countryside. Here are a couple of ways you can get involved in walking in the next few months:
Calderdale Heritage Walks
Walks organised by Calderdale Heritage Guides: Discover more about Calderdale’s history, how the area evolved and about life in our towns and villages down the years. These Guided Walks vary from 2 to 3 hours and most cost £3 per head.
There are two programmes per year, one covering late April – end October and the other November – late April. Walks are roughly one per fortnight.
Free programmes are available from Tourist Information Centres, Libraries, Museums,
Countryside sites and Council Offices within Calderdale.
