Age UK’s Domestic services offer help at home for older or disabled people throughout Calderdale .
Their team of Home Helpers can do your cleaning and help with other household tasks. They can also take care of the shopping or take you out and help you to do it. They provide a friendly face weekly or fortnightly, helping you to remain independent in your own home. Visits are chargeable at a minimum of 90 minutes per session.
Deep Cleaning Service: Age UK also offer annual Spring Cleans and one-off Deep Cleans when properties have gone beyond the scope of our Home Helpers. Deep cleans can involve removal of rubbish, minor repairs, decorating and intensive cleaning. These are priced on an individual basis.
Handyperson Service: This service from Age Uk offers help with gardening, decorating and installation of keysafes and safety aids and adaptations. Charges are reasonable.
