Last Thursday the Care Minister, David Mowat MP, met with the Carers Week charities, NHS England, local government and business to launch this year’s Carers Week at Westminster.
This year’s Carers Week runs from 12 – 19 June 2017 (with Older Carers Day on Friday 16 June). There are lots of ways you can become involved now, and during the week itself:
- Visit the Carers Week website www.carersweek.org to pledge your support for Carers Week and carry out a change that will help you and your services to become more carer friendly
- Sign up to run an activity or event and add it to the Carers Week website
- Follow Carers Week on Twitter @CarersWeek and use the hashtag #carersweek
- Like Carers Week on Facebook at www.facebook.com/carersweek and join in with the discussions
