Tai Chi is a gentle exercise can be performed either standing or sitting and the exercises are designed to reduce the risk of falling by developing and improving balance, strength, flexibility, body awareness, posture & co-ordination.
Age UK are now running regular classes delivered by a qualified Tai Chi tutor, who provides a flexible program of exercise to meet individual needs at the following venues and times:
Every Friday – 2.30pm to 3.30pm – St Thomas Parish Hall, Greetland
Every Friday – 10am to 11am – Forest Cottage, Cousin Lane, Ovenden,
Every Monday – 12.15pm to 1.15pm – St Judes Church Hall, King Cross, Halifax
