Daisy’s Café was opened in early 2015 by Dementia Friendly Todmorden with the purpose of providing a warm welcome along with support, advice and information to people affected by dementia as well as their family and carers, although everyone is welcome to come along!
The Café is run on a friendly and informal basis with various activities for members and volunteers to get involved with such as arts, crafts, traditional games, word-searches etc. Sometimes there are guests who come and provide musical entertainment.
Dementia Friendly Todmorden and Daisy’s Café are both fully supported by Todmorden Town Council, West Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.
