HEBDEN BRIDGE: Over 80’s Event

Hedben Bridge Round Table is organising a free afternoon meal and trip out to The Millstones for local residents aged 80 and over. This has become an annual event organised by the local Hebden Bridge branch of Round Table.

A coach will be leave Hebden Bridge town centre at 9:30am on the 28th May and head over to The Millstones, above Harrogate, for lunch, entertainment and possibly even a little bit of dancing. Places need to be pre-booked and transport will be provided to and from the coach pick up point.

Ruari Wiggin, The Chairman of Hebden Bridge Round Table, said ”We always look forward to arranging this dinner dance for the local over 80’s. We generally take 40 to 50 people across to The Millstones and we find we have a lot of people come back year after year. If anyone wants to attend this year all we need is their name and contact details so we can pick them up on the morning, take them to the coach and then head off over to Millstones for a bite to eat and a little dance.”

If you are aged over 80, live in the upper Calder Valley and would like to attend this free event just call 01706 550391 or email dan@site-eye.co.uk to reserve your place. Places are strictly limited.

Round Table is a member’s organisation opened to men aged between 18 and 45. They fund raise throughout the year and distribute money to various good causes in the local area.  If you are interest in joining Hebden Bridge Round Table just visit www.facebook.com/hbrt294
